Music is constantly playing during the days in my life. It plays in the background while I drive, walk, work, eat and even sleep. I would call myself an avid music listener and sometimes, there are songs that put me into another world. I wanted to depict this world through animations because a painting just wouldn't do it. This specific song, "Tru" by Lloyd helped me imagine this scene of my fictional character Lem, biking through the flowers.
<Turn back Time>

Everyone finds themselves in a period of time where they make a mistake that overwhelms them. People would do anything to reverse time and undo their mistakes. I made this animation to display that emotion, showing scenes of a car speeding, which is a method I use to relieve stress, a clock spinning anti clockwise that transforms into a tear drop.
<Channel Orange>

Channel Orange is a classic album from Frank Ocean that I listen to often. I made this animation as an appreciation to the album, taking place in my fictional animated universe. This was also a way for me to practice and improve my animation skills.
<Batman Visualizer>

I vividly remember getting into my friends car, and he was blasting music. This song played and I felt like I was sinking into the beat, hearing instruments that I wasn't hearing before. My mind created this vision of Batman marching towards me in this certain angle, with diamonds glistening from the sky and the lyrics being punched in through my brain. I wanted to execute this in some sort of animation but in my vision, I wanted it to be 3D. I spent hours sculpting and putting this together because I had a itch in my brain that I just couldn't get rid of.
<Addiction>
2024, Procreate, Procreate Dreams, Final Cut Pro
People all around the world struggle with addiction, it doesn't have to be smoking. Things that they know hurt them, but they choose not to rid themselves of it. I used smoking as a simile, to represent that sinking emotion, spinning in a circle telling themselves that they'll quit.
